#EnoughIsEnough

So a lot has been said lately about the campaign  was is a campaign to lower the price of matchday tickets a Premier League clubs.

Speaking from a Sunderland fan point of view we don’t pay that bad for HOME games (£20/£30 for lower league teams and £30/£40 for higher league teams) and away game is just ridiculous prices for our last away game some people paid £47 for tickets.

Our close enemy Newcastle prices are around the same as us.

But compared to clubs down south we don’t get the price hit as much as them. The latest team fans to protest this was Liverpool when they played us(Sunderland) at Anfield in a protest to them paying £77 for a match day ticket. According to reports over 25% of the crowd walked out on the 77th minute in protest.

There has just been a recent post on Twitter via @BreatheSport showed a picture of of a Chelsea Vs Manchester United ticket from today(7 Feb 16) what cost £82 this will get continue to get worse. Picture here

The worst thing about this is that all Premier League clubs from next season even if you finish at the bottom of the League next season that club will end up with £97m from TV rights and they still expect us to pay £50-£80 (South – London clubs) for a normal match ticket.

Why can’t Premier League clubs start charging £10 or £20 for a standard match day ticket. By doing this they can filling up/selling out the grounds up and down the UK by doing this it will create a great match day atmosphere.
